Step 1. Sliding Insert Instructions: The sliding insert has a spring-loaded clamp where the iPhone will attach. You will need to remove the sliding insert from the outer case, and then insert your iPhone into the clamp on the sliding insert.
*Note: If you have a smaller iPhone, there is one extra step when inserting your phone into the sliding insert clamp. Please refer to the video below to correctly attach your iPhone to the Sliding Insert.
Step 2. Align your iPhone's (+) and (-) volume buttons to the volume buttons on the sliding insert before inserting your iPhone into the clamp.
> Both of the iPhone's volume buttons MUST line up accurately with the volume buttons on the sliding insert.
Step 3. Inspect your o-ring gasket in the end cap to ensure it's free of sand and debris. To clean & prepare your o-ring for underwater use, add a dab of ProShot Silicone Grease to the tip of a provided o-ring cleaning tool - use this to remove any sand/debris and to line the top of your o-ring with grease.

Adding the Foam Pieces to Sliding Insert
For Smaller iPhones: 13 Mini, 12 Mini, SE 2022, SE 2020, and iPhone 8, 7, 6/6S.
Step 4. You do not have access to your phone's power button inside this case. For Plus and Max size iPhones, you won't be able to "swipe up" from the bottom of your screen. In order to lock your phone, and "swipe up" on larger phones, you must turn on Assistive Touch: iPhone Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Assistive Touch turn to ON.
If you want your phone to remain in your ProShotCase App for submerged filming, now's the time to turn on Guided Access in your iPhone's Settings. Learn more about Guided Access below, and in the ProShotCase app's settings.
Step 5. Slide the sliding insert back into the outer case body and secure the end cap to the bottom using the two blue side clips. To open the blue clips, slide the black "open" lever up and pull the bottom blue latch out. Attach the bottom blue latch to the end cap and close the blue clip, similar to a mason jar.
Please see the video below for how to lock the end cap to the case.

Step 6. Double check that the end cap is secured and properly attached to the outer case body. Click both your volume buttons to make sure they're aligned and interacting with your iPhone.
Anti-Glare Filter for iPhones Smaller than a PLUS or MAX
-
WHEN TO USE:
-
Recommended to use with any iPhone smaller than a MAX or PLUS. Especially helpful to use when filming near the water’s surface (above and below) in bright sunny conditions.
-
-
HOW TO USE:
-
Place the anti-glare filter in the sliding insert camera window prior to inserting your iPhone into the sliding insert clamp.
-

Once all is properly secured, you're ready to go film your awesome underwater adventures!

AssistiveTouch Info & Activation
AssistiveTouch is essential when using the ProShot Touch 2.0 case. Since you can't access your phone’s power button in the case, AssistiveTouch allows you to lock your phone. Additionally, for larger iPhones (Plus and Max sizes) that can’t swipe up to go home, AssistiveTouch lets you return to your home screen or switch apps.
This feature is designed for above-water activities, providing more touchscreen functionality while using the case.
Underwater Mode
When Underwater Mode is on, your iPhone's touchscreen will be deactivated. This will stop your iPhone from reacting sporadically to the water running over your case's touchscreen film when underwater.
WHEN TO USE:
-
Necessary to use with any ProShot Touch Case for all submerged filming (snorkeling, freediving, and open water diving).
-
WHAT IS UNDERWATER MODE:
-
It disables your touchscreen within our app to prevent water from randomly activating touch controls. When on, you can only control your camera with your volume buttons. You can still “swipe up” to switch apps and go to your homescreen.
-
Turn on Guided Access (info below) to prevent your phone from unintentionally “swiping up” and leaving your ProShotCase app.
Underwater Mode Vs Guided Access
-
Underwater Mode deactivates the touchscreen with the ProShotCase app, which creates a smooth filming experience underwater, but also allows you to leave our app (by swiping up from the bottom of the screen) and use your iPhone/other apps as usual.
-
Guided Access will COMPLETELY deactivate your touchscreen, within our ProShotCase app along with outside of it. When it, you will not be able to swipe up to home or switch apps - your phone will be locked into the ProShotCase app until you end the Guided Access session.
We recommend using Guided Access with any ProShot Touch Case if you only plan to film with the ProShotCase app during your following underwater adventure. It will keep your app open, allowing camera control with your volume buttons, and create a very smooth, distraction free, underwater filming environment.
Guided Access Info & Activation
-
Turn on ‘Underwater Mode’ for all submerged filming with a ProShot Touch (snorkeling, freediving, and open water diving.) This will disable your touchscreen within our app to prevent water from randomly activating touch controls.
-
When using a ProShot Touch with a smaller iPhone, we recommend turning on Guided Access if you only want access to your ProShotCase app.
Guided Access keeps your iPhone in a single app and disables your touchscreen completely. While ‘Underwater Mode’ disables touch functions within our app, it cannot remove the “swipe up” feature to switch apps or go to your homescreen. When Guided Access is on, it will keep your phone in your ProShotCase app and only allow camera control with your volume buttons. Guided Access must be turned on and off outside of the ProShot Touch Case.
-
This is NOT needed for the ProShot Dive (ONLY for the ProShot Touch).
-
This is NOT needed for Plus or Max size iPhones (even with the ProShot Touch).

Floating Handgrip Tips
IMPORTANT
-
This is an adjustable buoyancy floating hand grip! The inside is hollow and can be filled with water to create neutral buoyancy. Make sure the bottom end cap piece of the floating hand grip is screwed on tightly before each use.
-
Ensure that the O-Ring is intact inside the blue end cap piece.
-
Buoyancy Tip for Divers: Filling the Floating Hand Grip with water before diving will neutralize your case's buoyancy so it remains floating next to you, and doesn't float upwards on your dives.

After Care for your ProShot Touch Case
Here are a few care tips that we recommend following after each use to keep your ProShot Touch Case in great condition so your underwater footage is the best quality.
-
Check the O-ring in the end-cap before each use - it’s IMPORTANT to keep the o-ring clean and free of sand and debris. Please make sure it is still perfectly in place in the end cap too.
-
Use the O-ring Cleaner tool provided with your ProShot Touch Case to clean the End-cap & O-ring before and after each use. This ensures the end cap remains free of debris, preventing potential leaks.
-
*Please refer to the video below on how to correctly clean your end cap & o-ring.

-
Rinse your ProShot Touch Case with fresh water after every use and let it air dry. This will remove any salt residue on your lens area and will keep your seals and gaskets clean from sand so they remain intact and watertight.
-
After every use: Apply silicone grease from the provided tube to the end cap to ensure it’s free of debris. The silicone grease adds an extra layer of protection, preventing leaks by improving the seal and reducing the risk of sand or debris interfering with the o-ring/gasket.
Please refer to the video above.
-
If needed, rub toothpaste on the exterior lens area to clean your lens on your ProShotCase.
-
Always store your ProShot Touch Case in the Travel Case with the camera lens side facing up to prevent any scratches to the camera viewing window.
*Please refer to the photo below for how to store the ProShot Touch Case correctly.
